Job summary

Peraton seeks a seasoned facilities operations leader in McLean, VA to oversee construction and maintenance of government facilities. The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph and a BA/BS with 8+ years of experience (4 years may substitute for degree) and at least 8 years in facilities maintenance, including 3 years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and security standards for government regulations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, general construction, critical infrastructure, building maintenance, and secure SCIF construction practices.
• Manages design planning, construction and maintenance of equipment and machinery, buildings and other facilities in support of government operations.
• Collaborates with management to assign requirements, evaluate engineering options, and plan for facility upgrades and improvements.
• Acts as 24/7 liaison for building emergencies and responses.
• Manages multiple building operations functions and maintains positive relationships with tenants.
• Coordinates with government staff, project managers and contractors to ensure continuity of operations and safety.
• Operates on-site daily to manage contractors.
• Ensures OSHA regulation updates are complied with.
• Works with management on vendor management, work orders, scheduling and approvals.
• Establishes and maintains equipment and system standards.
• Maintains visitor logs and manages desk/mail delivery procedures.
• Follows technology tradecraft procedures for visitors on site.
• In limited circumstances, conducts trash maintenance or light cleaning.
• Keeps accurate records of invoices/expenses for services/goods.
• Performs regular supply inventories and maintains records.
• Assists with inventory and logistics for facility access.
• Attends management meetings to discuss tenant needs and solutions.
• Participates in building security operations.
• Acts as technical liaison for facility owner, on-site tenants, and contractors.
• Operates forklift and other vehicles as needed.
