Job summary

ConocoPhillips in Midland, Texas is seeking an Associate Facilities Engineer to support safe and reliable surface facilities and infrastructure across Midland Basin assets. Based in Midland, you will work with operations, projects, environmental, regulatory, health & safety, and maintenance teams to deliver fit-for-purpose facility solutions that protect production and asset value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to safe, reliable facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, environmental, regulatory, HSE, projects, procurement, ROW, drafting, and maintenance teams.
• Provide engineering support for day-to-day operations and for capital projects.
• Develop and update operating and maintenance procedures for safety and efficiency.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Participate in risk assessments, MOC, and incident investigations.
