Job summary

As an intern, you will develop cost estimates, schedules, and reports, support energy conservation initiatives, and learn how Textron Aviation's facilities operate across architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Construction Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time, and project management abilities.
• Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractors and consulting engineers to manage facilities design, construction, renovation, and repair
• Develop cost estimates, project schedules, and provide progress status
• Conduct design evaluations, economic evaluations, and prepare technical reports
• Assist with implementation of capital projects per approved budget
• Assist with annual and long-range strategic planning
• Support energy conservation projects
• Support manufacturing equipment installation
• Utilize AutoCAD and other software to update facility drawings and records
