AbbVie in the United States seeks an engineering professional to apply scientific and engineering knowledge to complete facility projects in pharmaceutical operations. You will design, scope, schedule, and ensure regulatory compliance for complex engineering tasks.

You will lead HVAC and clean utility design, manage project scopes and budgets, and interface with regulators to maintain audit readiness and product quality. This role requires strong project leadership and technical expertise.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2 years of relevant work experience OR Technical degree + 2 years of relevant work experience OR equivalent work experience in this discipline.
• GMP experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry is highly desirable.
• Experience with large capital projects and facility upgrades related to clean utilities and HVAC design is preferred.

• Execute facility engineering projects effectively by applying sound engineering principles, technical expertise, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements; drive quality through robust design practices and risk assessment.
• Assess impacts of design changes and implement mitigation strategies to protect product quality and business performance.
• Support and deliver high-impact engineering projects; manage scope, schedule, cost controls, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support facility and utility expansion, upgrade, and renovation projects through the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership in facility and utility design, including HVAC systems, cleanrooms, and clean utilities per cGMP.
• Prioritize demands by translating needs into defined project scopes and incorporate emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and support audit-readiness for regulatory inspections.
