Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an engineering professional to apply scientific and engineering knowledge to completing facility-related projects. The role emphasizes compliant design, risk assessment, and timely updates to stakeholders across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, and costs, supporting upgrades and renovations, and ensuring regulatory readiness and documentation. Preferred candidates have GMP exposure and experience with AutoCAD, Maximo, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute facility engineering projects applying sound engineering principles and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assess design-change impacts and implement mitigation to protect operations and quality.
• Support high-impact projects with scope, schedule, cost controls, and stakeholder updates.
• Support facility expansion, upgrades, and renovation through lifecycle stages.
• Provide leadership in facility design including HVAC, clean utilities, and cGMP alignment.
• Translate customer needs into defined project scopes and incorporate improvements.
• Develop technical documentation and support audits/regulatory inspections.
