Job summary

VetJobs is seeking an on-site Facility Engineer to lead major facility and utility projects. You will apply engineering principles and regulatory knowledge to design, plan, and execute upgrades, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational continuity.

The role includes overseeing scope, schedule, and cost while collaborating with stakeholders. Preferred candidates have CAD/REVIT software experience and a background in GMP environments, with a focus on clean utilities and large capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2 years of relevant work experience OR Technical degree + 2 years of relevant work experience OR equivalent work experience in this discipline.
• Minimum Education: High School/GED.
• Preferred: BS Engineering in Biomedical, Chemical or Mechanical; GMP experience; Large Capital Projects and Facility Upgrades, clean utility and HVAC design; AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, Maximo, Revit experience

Responsibilities

• Execute facility engineering projects applying sound engineering principles and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements; drive quality and effectiveness of major projects.
• Assess impacts of design changes and implement mitigation to protect operations, product quality, and business performance.
• Support and deliver high-impact engineering projects, maintaining scope, schedule, cost controls, and stakeholder updates.
• Support facility and utility expansion, upgrades, and renovations through lifecycle phases.
• Provide technical leadership in facility and utility design, including HVAC and clean utilities per cGMP expectations.
• Translate customer needs into defined project scopes, incorporating emerging technologies and continuous improvement.
