Job summary

UG2 LLC in Boston, MA is seeking a Building/HVAC Technician to support state-of-the-art campus operations. You will inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automatic temperature control equipment to ensure continuous operation.

Requirements include 3–5 years in MEP/HVAC, high school diploma, and strong BMS skills; MA refrigeration license preferred. Role includes on-call responsibilities and a collaborative team environment at UG2.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in related work.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with large tonnage HVAC equipment.
• Must know how to service compressors, pumps, VAV boxes, and cooling towers.
• Strong understanding of building management and automation systems.
• Lead Engineer capability when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform pump rebuilds and replacements for continuous operation.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for system upkeep.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours service calls.
• Maintain and operate Building Energy Management and Fire Safety Systems.
