Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a Facilities Engineer to provide hands-on support for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of a large facility with aging electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems. You will report to the RES Operations Director.

You will lead electrical system troubleshooting (480 VAC), support BAS, HVAC and critical infrastructure, and drive end-of-life equipment projects, commissioning, and turnover to Facilities Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems in large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of 480 VAC power distribution and field troubleshooting.
• Experience with BAS including controls, networking, alarms, and trending (Automated Logic and/or Niagara preferred).
• Equivalent education/experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and troubleshooting for electrical systems (480 VAC, switchgear, generators, UPS, etc.).
• Support and troubleshoot BAS; programming, sequencing, alarms, and integration with equipment.
• Support HVAC and building systems, reliability, and root-cause analysis.
• Lead and support facility infrastructure projects from planning to turnover.
• Support daily operations, maintenance, audits, and documentation.
