Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking an experienced facilities technician in Denver to perform operations and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, BAS, and fire/life safety systems supporting data center, cash processing, and kitchen operations.

You will collaborate with building engineers, managers, and contractors on projects, identify energy efficiency opportunities, and handle service requests with accurate documentation and safe work practices.

Qualifications

Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.
High school education or GED.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
Senior understanding of businesses processes and subject matter.
Performs work independently with limited supervision and direction.

Responsibilities

Perform operations and maintenance on complex HVAC, Electrical, Building Automation, and Fire/Life Safety equipment and systems.
Work with building engineers, project managers, general contractors, and management on ongoing projects.
Identify and evaluate systems and components for improving energy efficiency.
Communicate with customers to resolve service requests and document details.
Respond to service requests and prepare purchase requisitions for parts.
