Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Data Center Operations professional to support critical facility operations, including electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems, to achieve 99.99% uptime. You will manage HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generators, monitor infrastructure with Vertiv SiteScan/APC tools, and ensure proper change control and incident handling.

The role requires a background in electrical engineering or extensive equivalent experience, plus hands-on data center administration and strong

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (or 10 years relevant experience), with MEP/HVAC exposure.
• 3–5 years managing APC DCE/ITA and Vertiv SiteScan environments (required).
• Strong understanding of HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generator functions/alarming (required).
• 3+ years in an administrative/systems capacity.
• Experience with incident ticketing and change management tools.
• Strong communication skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset.
