Job summary

CCS INC in Greensboro, NC seeks a data center operations specialist to support MEP systems, ensuring 99.99% uptime and assisting managers in maintaining electrical, mechanical, and environmental infrastructure.

You will manage HVAC, UPS, ATS, generators, and coordinate with vendors, while following Change Management and incident processes and maintaining inventory documentation to uphold safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or 10 years relevant experience.
• 3–5 years managing APC DCE/ITA and Vertiv SiteScan environments (required).
• Strong understanding of HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generator functions/alarming (required).
• 3+ years in an administrative/systems capacity.
• Experience with incident ticketing and change management tools.
• Strong communication skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

Support Data Center Managers in maintaining critical facility operations — electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems — to meet our company data center standards and a 99.99% uptime objective.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage MEP systems supporting the data center: HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generators
