Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a Building Engineer in Round Rock, TX to maintain building systems and support operations. The role involves preventive and reactive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with the Hard Services team to ensure reliable facility performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in O&M/Building Engineering, CMMS experience, and a focus on safe operations and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Facilities Maintenance and/or Building Engineering roles.
• EPA Universal/608 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and CMMS Systems."
• Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management.
• Experience with managing KPIs as provided by Site Operations Manager.
• Journeyman level experience in Electrical and Mechanical Equipment systems.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, CMMS).
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance and repair of building MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, HVAC).
• Perform refrigerant handling for HVAC repairs.
• Electrical tasks: bulb and ballast replacement and troubleshooting.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and drains.
• Inspect and maintain café/kitchen equipment.
• Support maintenance of elevators, life safety systems, and UPSs.
• Repairs to doors, ceilings, and related components.
• Keep CMMS data up to date with assets and maintenance data.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for safe on-site work.
