Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College is looking for an Operating/Stationary Engineer responsible for the maintenance and operation of the college's Physical Plant and equipment. This role may be full-time or part-time, acting also as a maintenance mechanic when needed.

Candidates should hold a High School diploma and a Maryland First Grade Stationary Engineer’s license, and have electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling maintenance experience. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling.
• Ability to interact effectively with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Physical Plant equipment.
• Complete physical tours to monitor equipment.
• Respond to emergency service requests.
