POSITION GOAL:

Support all Facilities Engineering activities related to the St. Cloud and Crookston plants. Lead projects from requirements definition through execution, including scheduling, scope, budget estimation, implementation plans, and risk mitigation. Implement changes and improvements to maximize benefits for the company and stakeholders.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Support Facilities Council initiatives: creating business cases, developing costing forecasts, facilities readiness, project management, and delivering presentations. This role has a strong emphasis on project management.
  2. Prepare and adhere to project budgets.
  3. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Review and negotiate leases for NABC facilities.
  5. Participate in make/buy projects and develop business cases as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate CAD layouts for all company facilities.
  7. Manage facility improvement projects and other assigned upgrades.
  8. Specify and facilitate capital and equipment upgrades, installations, or modifications.
  9. Support Process Planning, Tool & Die, and Manufacturing Engineering as required.
  10. Work effectively as a team member to achieve goals and actively pursue remedial actions.
  11. Implement and promote lean manufacturing initiatives related to facilities.
  12. Foster an environment of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Ability to shift focus and priorities as needed to meet project deadlines.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • 2–5 years of project management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel for project/business analysis.
  • Experience using PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle.
  • Effective team player with strong communication skills.

Specific Job Skills:

  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Oracle.
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • Lean certification or equivalent work experience.

Education:

Engineering degree and/or related coursework and work experience.
