Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee the maintenance of buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets across the community. You will lead housekeeping, laundry and transportation services, develop vendor relationships, and ensure occupancy-readiness and safety across facilities.

The role requires HVAC experience, strong leadership and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s/Technical degree in related field.
• Four years maintenance supervision experience.
• HVAC experience or training.
• Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing and related repair.
• Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems and disaster preparedness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Provides leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets.
• Manages housekeeping, laundry and transportation services per policy.
• Oversees total operation and maintenance of campus and buildings.
• Develops vendor relationships and negotiates maintenance contracts.
• Inspects apartments prior to occupancy.
• May handle after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Implements a preventative maintenance program and work orders.
• Plans and leads housekeeping and laundry operations per laws.
• Reviews monthly financials and actions for deficiencies.
• Manages staffing and scheduling within budgets.
• Ensures vehicles are maintained and safe.
• Oversees safe passenger transportation.
