Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance exp., 2+ in supervision, healthcare/senior living preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life safety).
• Experience with preventive maintenance, vendor mgmt, budgeting, capital projects.
• OSHA, life safety regulations; IDPH/CMS preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop a maintenance team; safety culture champion.
• Proficient in MS Office and CMMS or similar software.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and on-call rotation.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Manage maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with life safety, OSHA, IDPH, CMS, and other regs.
• Oversee capital improvement projects and department budgets.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
