Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living seeks a Corporate Director of Maintenance to lead the Home Office maintenance for the St. Louis location. This role oversees interior, exterior, grounds, and critical systems, coordinating with tenants and Cedarhurst communities.

It requires hands-on leadership of maintenance staff and a proactive safety culture. The role includes managing preventative maintenance, building systems, and on-call response, with a focus on reliability, safety, and efficiency across the Home

Qualifications

• Two to five (2-5) years of related experience preferred, or accredited maintenance training.
• Applicable licensure or certification, as required.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing and electrical work.
• Basic technical knowledge of Life Safety systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and coordinate housekeeping personnel as required by office and tenant needs.
• Maintain all areas inside the building to high cleanliness standards and perform routine cleaning.
• Maintain grounds and exterior repairs in cooperation with landscaper and waste services.
• Assist in implementing a preventative maintenance program for facility and equipment.
• Prepare and refurbish office common areas, patching, painting, and flooring work.
• Maintain fire safety and emergency records and SDS catalog.
• Inspect tenant suites for problems and report updates to Management.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and document work orders.
