Qualifications

• Must handle multiple tasks and priorities with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with external contractors and coordinate with various professionals.
• Ability to relate well to residents and their families.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and follow a schedule to oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other general duties.
• Train staff in community and state-required policies and procedures.
• Remain on-call for emergency repairs or maintenance issues.
• Maintain logs tracking maintenance of the building and grounds.
• Order maintenance-related products and supplies.
• Follow budget guidelines and assist in developing the annual maintenance budget; manage inventory and loss control.
• Hire, schedule, and supervise the maintenance department; conduct performance reviews and maintain related employee records.
