Nexushm is seeking a Maintenance Director for its Godfrey, IL location to oversee all building systems, lead the maintenance team, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships while maintaining detailed logs and schedules.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, plus experience in a nursing home or similar care setting. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Effectively collaborate with external contractors and internal teams.
• Relate well to residents and their families in a care setting.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; nursing home experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Establish and follow a schedule to maintain all building systems.
• Train staff on community policies and procedures.
• Remain on-call for emergencies and repairs.
• Maintain logs tracking maintenance of building and grounds.
• Order and manage maintenance-related products and supplies.
• Assist in budgeting and inventory control for maintenance.
• Hire, schedule, and supervise the maintenance team; conduct reviews.
• Complete related employee paperwork and performance assessments.
