Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of maintenance trades experience (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Knowledge of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines.
• 1–2 years management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Facilities Department and perform hands-on maintenance as needed.
• Survey facilities regularly to ensure preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and security tasks are performed.
• Coordinate inspections and prepare for state/federal reviews (MassHousing, REAC, etc.).
• Develop policies and procedures for the Facilities Department.
• Enforce safety rules and train staff on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare capital and operating budgets for the Facilities Department.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate with building staff.
