Job summary

BYU Pathway is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance and facilities operations, ensuring KPI performance and regulatory compliance. You will oversee budgeting, vendor relationships, and strategic objectives within a dynamic team.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with CMMS and MS Office tools. This on-site position is based near Layton, UT.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in facilities management, property management, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in the facilities management industry.
• 4 years in a leadership role leading others.
• Total 14 years combined education and experience.
• FMP certification is required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge in facility and property management, construction, safety and fire codes.
• Proven front-line management in a multi-discipline environment with resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with employees, leaders, contractors and vendors.
• Proficient in computers and cellphones; CMMS & MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facilities operations for FM groups, with KPI accountability.
• Manage payroll, onboarding, time off requests, and workers' comp issues.
• Implement strategic objectives and align with organizational goals.
• Oversee budget and vendor relationships, coordinating with admins and coordinators.
• Conduct annual and semi-annual facility evaluations and long-term planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain 24x7x365 emergency on-call readiness and response.
• Direct weekly FM group meetings and coordinate training activities.
