Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of supervisory experience is required.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• Experience in basic repair and maintenance such as plumbing, carpentry and painting is preferred.
• High school Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct maintenance of the physical plant and grounds.
• Ensure facility and department compliance with regulations.
• Oversee infection control, waste disposal and universal precautions policies.
• Direct Maintenance Service department employees daily.
• Orient new maintenance staff to duties.
• Maintain building appearance and accessibility, grounds, snow removal and litter control.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
