Job summary

Rochester Manor in Rochester, NH is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the safety, comfort, and upkeep of our nursing center. You will supervise the maintenance department, manage life safety systems, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

This on-site role reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and requires on-call availability 24/7. Responsibilities include repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, budget planning, and maintaining fire

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents.
• Maintains required records and reports; performs budget planning.
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operates on the TELS platform for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
