Job summary

Ascension Milwaukee facility in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Manager to supervise staffing, evaluate performance, train teams, and assist with capacity planning for staff and contract labor.

This role ensures facilities are maintained, secured, renovated, and constructed per policies; works with vendors on repairs and capital improvements; assists with department budgets; ensures compliance with regulatory requirements; reads blueprints and guides associates as needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience is required or implied by the role.
• Certifications in healthcare facilities or related fields are preferred.
• Experience with budgets and capital projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manages staffing, performance evaluation and training activities, and assists with capacity planning for staff and contract labor.
• Ensures facilities are maintained, secured, renovated, and constructed according to policies; collaborates with vendors and purchasing for repairs and capital improvements.
• Assists with departmental budgets including capital, operating and construction budgets.
• Maintains knowledge and ensures compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements.
• Ensures safe, reliable and continuous availability of supplies, materials and systems; may perform duties at participant's home or residence.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and provides guidance to associates as needed.
