ESFM, the corporate facilities management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead planning, organizing, and controlling plant operations and building renovations. Key responsibilities include reviewing programs, managing budgets and energy controls, guiding staff, and maintaining strong client rapport while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years engineering maintenance experience at Director or Assistant Director level.
• Experience in manufacturing and construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures.
• Monitors work flow and quality to ensure timely completion and compliance.
• Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including energy savings programs.
• Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff.
• Maintains effective client rapport with stakeholders.
• Monitors performance and prepares employee evaluations.

Education

Job Summary

Working as a Director of Facilitiesyou are responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling functions and activities of plant operations and building renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures
• Monitors flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility's standards and regulations using computerized programs for preventive and correctivemaintenance, construction projects, financial management, and energy controls
• Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including the utilities energy savings program
• Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff
• Successfully provides effective client rapport
• Monitors work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in MechanicalEngineeringor equivalent related experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years engineering maintenance experience at Director or Assistant Director level required
• Experience in manufacturing and construction management preferred
