Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a Facilities Director to lead the facilities management operations at The Bungalows at Mayfield. The role reports to the Executive Director and oversees maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security functions to ensure safety and compliance.

The position requires supervisory experience, extensive facilities knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) and strong budget management. A valid driver’s license and state certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years supervisory and management experience.
• Three years facilities experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• Valid Driver's License (if Applicable).
• Certification may be required per state.
• Experience maintaining water heat source pumps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and leads facilities management operations including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security.
• Oversees repairs and responds to building emergencies.
• Liaises with the Executive Director and external vendors.
• Manages maintenance logs, inspections and budget data per Phoenix policies.
• Coordinates consultants, contractors and internal resources on large projects.
• Maintains HVAC and fire protection systems and ensures air quality.
• Trains staff on safety, emergency procedures and department protocols.
• Manages recruitment, hiring, training and performance within the department.
• Participates in regular leadership meetings and budget reviews.
