Job summary

The Bungalows at Mayfield is seeking a Facilities Director to lead the overall facilities management operations, including maintenance, security, and housekeeping, ensuring compliance with regulations and Phoenix standards.

The Facilities Director reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with external vendors while supervising staff, managing budgets, and coordinating large-scale projects to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required (education).
• Two years supervisory/management experience is required.
• Three years facilities experience covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
• Valid Driver's License is required (if applicable).
• State certification may be required per state.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead facilities management operations including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and security.
• Respond to building emergencies and direct response.
• Coordinate with Executive Director and external vendors.
• Monitor maintenance logs and ensure timely responses.
• Oversee HVAC, fire protection and safety inspections; maintain documentation.
• Manage budgets, monthly expenses and action plans for deficiencies.
• Train staff and support regional facilities teams as requested.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, and performance management for the department.
• Attend regular meetings and participate in town halls and quality improvement initiatives.
