Job summary

CCMC, a community management company in Texas, seeks a Facilities Director to oversee maintenance of association-owned properties and manage preventive programs in alignment with the community’s goals. The role emphasizes safety, budgeting, and strong vendor relationships to deliver reliable facilities services.

The person will inspect facilities, coordinate bids, supervise staff, and respond to after-hours emergencies while ensuring compliance with contracts and plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in facilities management/maintenance.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read contracts, construction plans and schematics.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility maintenance of association-owned properties.
• Routinely inspects facilities, implements a preventive maintenance schedule, and keeps records.
• Obtains multiple bids and issues work orders.
• Builds relationships with vendors and contractors and evaluates performance.
• Reviews invoices prior to payment for accuracy.
• Meets with insurance adjusters for claims involving common property.
• Provides written reports and photo documentation of any facility damage.
• Maintains a maintenance schedule aligned with the association's annual operating budget.
