Job summary

CCMC is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance of association-owned properties and manage vendor relationships. The role requires 5+ years of facilities management experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with boards, staff, and residents. Expect outdoor work, broad trades skills, and budgeting responsibilities.

You will lead maintenance programs, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety standards across community facilities, parks, and amenities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with Board, staff, residents, volunteers and contractors.
• Extensive knowledge of grounds maintenance and building upkeep.
• Strong supervisory skills to manage employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Comfort with evening/weekend work as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office software.
• Experience with carpentry, HVAC, electrical and plumbing trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the building maintenance of association-owned properties.
• Inspect facilities regularly and implement a maintenance schedule with records.
• Build relationships with vendors/contractors and supervise their work.
• Maintain facility records and generate reports.
• Oversee setup of rooms and amenities; assist budgeting and financial tracking.
• Ensure signage, lighting, gate closures, and safety equipment are in working order.
• Prepare for seasonal events and weather-related contingencies with written documentation.
• Provide light carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical updates to equipment.
