Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a dependable facilities associate in New York to maintain buildings, property, and landscaping, and to ensure clean, safe common areas. The role involves operation of floor scrubbing equipment, restroom upkeep, and regular trash removal.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time position requiring occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• Or the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline;
• Or 5 years' experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Clean and pick up trash/debris from parking lots and exterior trash cans.
• Clean and maintain restrooms.
• Operate floor scrubbing machinery and maintain clean auction house floors.
• Maintain all buildings, property and equipment for the site.
• Ensure all buildings are kept clean.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and comply with applicable safety rules.
