Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a diligent custodian for daily cleaning and site maintenance at the Lakeland, FL facility. You will clean high-touch areas, restrooms, and the premises while following safety procedures to support a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, floor care, exterior cleaning, and assisting with light moving or stocking as needed. The role requires a HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related experience.
• Or any higher degree/certification in a related discipline.
• Or 5 years related experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces.
• Clean and pick up trash/debris from parking lots and exterior cans.
• Clean and maintain restrooms.
• Vacuuming and mopping to keep floors clean.
• Maintain buildings, property and equipment for the site.
• Ensure all buildings are kept clean.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers.
• Restocking restrooms and office supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
• Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
