Job summary

The Town of Wake Forest is seeking a Custodian to clean and maintain Town buildings and surrounding areas under general supervision. The role requires independence, strong cleaning skills, and a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and custodial maintenance for various floor surfaces and interiors.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, polish floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dust, polish woodwork, furniture, and equipment.
• Wipe windows, walls, and restrooms; empties wastebaskets; replenish supplies.
• Plan and schedule custodial work and maintain supply inventories.
• Maintain positive public relations and customer service standards.
