Job summary

Beauport Hospitality Group seeks a reliable team player for general maintenance and custodial duties at Cruiseport Gloucester and Seaport Grille. The role covers daily cleaning, event setup, and light repairs to keep the property welcoming and safe. Schedule is 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, weekends required.

Must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand all day. Pay is $18–$20/hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to problem solve, work independently, and work cooperatively as a team member.
• Competent in the use of a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the Management Team and team members.
• Position requires physical activity including bending, lifting, and rotating on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
• Ability to climb and carry ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours at a time.
• Practice and observe all safety procedures.
• Ability to read electronic, pneumatic, and electrical gauges and meters.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems to identify and isolate problematic components or systems.
• Actual compensation is commensurate with relevant skills and qualifications.
• Salary range is $18-$20/hr

Responsibilities

• Maintains, cleans, and keeps orderly the interior and exterior of Cruiseport and Seaport Grille, property, and grounds.
• Perform custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, vacuuming and other general cleaning tasks.
• Responsible for setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for Cruiseport events.
• Responds quickly to facility emergencies, sanitary needs, or Management requirements.
• All work must be done with pride and in a professional manner at all times.
