Job summary

CSL Vifor Indianapolis is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly donor center. You will clean break rooms, waiting areas, floors, windows, and surfaces, and perform minor maintenance as needed.

This full-time role requires the ability to follow instructions, lift up to 40 pounds, and adhere to health and safety policies. Bilingual skills may be needed; overtime may be required to support center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months experience as a custodian or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans break room, donor waiting area, tables, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances.
• Vacuums carpets, dusts furniture and removes trash.
• Cleans windows and doors daily.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, painting, minor plumbing and carpentry).
• Monitors grounds and parking lots, picks up litter as required.
• Inspects and cleans restrooms, replaces paper and soap, and restocks supplies.
• Receives supplies from vendors and moves them between storage and release areas.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and follows HSE and OSHA policies; protects confidential information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
