Job summary

Hamilton County in Ohio is seeking a Custodian to keep facilities clean and safe across multiple locations. You will perform a variety of unskilled to semi-skilled cleaning tasks, operate buffers and vacuums, and help with basic maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year semi-skilled custodial work experience.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled custodial tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains supply inventory and requisitions needed supplies; prepares and maintains records and reports; attends required training sessions and staff meetings.
• Operates cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, scrubbers and snow blowers.
• Performs routine maintenance and repair tasks and assists maintenance personnel with major repairs.
• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs duties of co-workers as required or assigned.
