A leading facilities management company located in Gahanna, Ohio, is seeking a Custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, maintaining assigned areas, and performing hazardous waste duties. Candidates should have 3-6 months of relevant experience and strong communication skills. The position offers a shift from Wednesday to Saturday, with a competitive pay rate of $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-6 months of training or experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completed safety and task training certification.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe use.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.

Skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read and interpret instructions

Bilingual

Education
