Job summary

RADFORD CITY PBLC SCHS SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain a clean, sanitary facility and ensure a safe environment for students and staff. You will sweep, mop, vacuums, dust, and sanitize assigned areas and respond to cleaning requests as directed by the supervisor.

You will follow a daily checklist, assist with minor repairs, report major issues, manage supplies, and help with food distribution as needed while wearing proper safety equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some custodial experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (state: Virginia).

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and sanitary facility.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, and sanitizes assigned areas.
• Covers for absent custodian in assigned areas as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs as directed.
• Cleans windows and disposes of trash daily; follows safety guidelines.
