Job summary

CITY HOME in Tamarac, FL is seeking a Building Custodian to provide a clean and safe workspace for all Associates. Primary duties include cleaning floors, dusting furniture, sanitizing restrooms, and keeping showroom and clearance centers tidy.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of office cleaning experience, and the ability to work 40 hours per week including one weekend day. English proficiency and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of office cleaning experience.
• 40 hours per week in a corporate office/showroom setting including one weekend day.
• Physical requirements: bending and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors in offices and conference rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, or using carpet cleaning equipment.
• Dust office furniture, clean windows and sanitize surfaces; collect trash and recycling; organize conference room chairs.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock dispensers.
• Notify supervisor about repairs; clean and maintain stairwells, elevator rooms and showroom/restroom areas.
• Maintain showroom and clearance center areas, including windows, surfaces, and dispensers.
