Job summary

DAYTON-GRANGER, INC. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Facilities Custodian to keep our facility spotless, safe, and welcoming.

In this hands-on role you’ll clean restrooms, offices, lobbies, breakrooms and production areas, stock supplies, and ensure spaces are organized and running smoothly. The position requires 2+ years in janitorial or building maintenance, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in janitorial or maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
• Ability to operate floor scrubbers, vacuums and buffers.
• English communication skills; able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Maintain restrooms and spaces stocked with supplies.
• Provide clean and polished environment across spaces.
• Empty trash and recycling daily.
• Maintain exterior cleanliness around entrances.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance tickets promptly.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (bulbs, consumables, small repairs).
• Assist with preventative maintenance and report issues.
• Interact professionally with employees with customer-service mindset.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
