Job summary

SBM is seeking a Custodian in Buffalo, NY to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role involves performing janitorial tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and following hazardous waste handling procedures as part of a safety-conscious team.

The candidate should have 3–6 months of training or experience; bilingual ability is a plus. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be required. The workweek is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and follow daily schedule.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; professional conduct with staff and customers.
