Job summary

SBM Management Services, Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Custodian to keep all assigned areas clean and safe. You will perform janitorial duties, follow the daily schedule, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain a professional appearance while delivering reliable service.

The role includes handling hazardous waste tasks, reporting hazards, and supporting the shift lead. No advanced education required; 3–6 months of training preferred; a valid driver’s license and forklift certification may be

Qualifications

• No specific education required, 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Strong reading and interpretation of instructions and procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as scheduled and on a daily basis.
• Handle Hazardous Waste tasks including collection, classification, storage, shipping, and labeling.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Work in a team and support the shift lead with punch-list items.
