Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking an Assistant Account Manager of Custodial Services in Naperville, IL. This role oversees custodial operations across university complexes, supervising two assistant supervisors and about 40 custodians to maintain high standards of cleanliness.

The position requires leadership, staffing, scheduling, payroll, and training responsibilities, reporting to the Site Director. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Supervises daily work of custodial staff and oversees staffing for university complexes.
• Manages payroll and attendance records; coordinates schedules and disciplinary actions.
• Trains custodians and lead personnel; implements new procedures and policies.
• Maintains records, reports, and supply inventories; coordinates with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supervises two assistant supervisors and 40 custodians and inspects daily.
• Evaluates performance and counsels employees; prepares disciplinary action reports.
• Designates shift and area assignments; interprets contract and trains staff.
• Maintains records, submits reports, and manages supply orders and inventory.
• Coordinates events setup and ensures proper staffing across campuses.
