Job summary

HES is seeking an Assistant Account Manager of Custodial Services in the United States, Illinois, Elgin to supervise custodial operations across university complexes. You will oversee two assistant supervisors and 40 custodians, manage staffing, and coordinate campus events to ensure cleanliness and compliance with contracts.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, payroll coordination, and excellent communication with students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily cleaning operations and supervise two assistant supervisors and 40 custodians.
• Prepare schedules and biweekly payroll.
• Evaluate performance and disciplinary action as needed.
• Coordinate event setups across campuses.
• Maintain records and reports on building conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and inspect areas to ensure standards.
• Coordinate cleaning projects and staff assignments.
• Manage relationship with students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Order supplies and monitor inventory and equipment usage.
• Provide training and implement procedures not defined elsewhere.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
