Charleston co. in United States is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for cleaning in the Lonnie Hamilton Public Service Building and other facilities. You will assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with custodial experience and supervisory background. Must understand janitorial methods, maintain records, and have a valid SC driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years custodial work, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of janitorial methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment for large public buildings.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Ability to plan, train, inspect and evaluate supervisory staff; communicate effectively in English; and maintain records.
• A valid SC driver's license or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Supervise custodial staff and assign daily tasks.
• Develop, update and evaluate work and safety standards, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate custodial operations for events and facility maintenance.
• Maintain personnel records and work schedules; monitor performance and discipline as needed.
• Inspect sites to ensure completion of work and manage inventory of supplies.
