Job summary

Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is seeking a custodial supervisor to oversee daily operations of a 90,000+ sq ft facility. You will ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional environment by managing maintenance, repairs, and custodial activities.

Reports to the Portfolio Manager and coordinates a custodial crew, with responsibilities including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. This is a full-time on-site role in Savannah, GA with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and basic maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of custodial supplies and equipment
• Knowledge of HVAC care and filter changes
• Knowledge of safety rules and building operations

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness and safety by overseeing custodial activities
• Schedules and supervises custodial staff and conducts evaluations
• Moves furniture and conducts cleaning to keep the building safe and clean
• Operates and performs minor service on heating/cooling systems
• Orders cleaning supplies and manages inventories
• Oversees exterior maintenance and painting projects
