Job summary

City of Lewisville is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to organize, assign, and monitor crew work across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and building systems. You will ensure work follows procedures while optimizing time, materials, and manpower.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, planning maintenance, diagnosing and repairing HVAC and electrical systems, and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on schedule with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical, building maintenance, HVAC, or similar area.
• Any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job is an acceptable substitute for the above specified education and experience requirements.
• Licenses and Certifications: None.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains facilities personnel on all assigned tasks.
• Plans, schedules, orders materials, and leads work on plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, ventilation and pumping systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and electrical systems.
• Ensure all duties associated with HVAC unit preventative maintenance is completed on schedule and documented.
• Repair and/or replace parts and equipment.
• Install and/or repair plumbing lines, parts and fixtures.
• Ensure all doors and A/C schedules are updated and open per the door schedule.
• Follow instructions, safety practices, and SOPs in performing assigned tasks.
• Perform mechanical repairs on equipment, building systems, doors, security and fire systems, etc.
• Ensure that all work is completed with quality and in a cost efficient manner.
