Memphis Veterinary Specialists, LLC seeks a Facilities Coordinator to maintain the hospital through on-site minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordination with external contractors. You will ensure a safe, compliant environment for patients, clients, and staff while managing work orders and regulatory issues.

The position is hands-on, on-site at the Memphis hospital with a team that emphasizes a culture of care and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older to be considered.
• Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer‑service skills.
• Familiarity with work‑order systems and basic budgeting/coordination.
• Reliability and ability to respond to facility needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Manage the work order system: initiate, track, and close orders with QA.
• Coordinate larger projects with vendors and hospital leadership.
• Conduct site inspections and document findings; liaise with landlords/contractors.
• Ensure OSHA/ANSI/NFPA/ADA compliance through regular inspections.
• Prepare for severe weather events and facility emergencies; after‑hours support as needed.
• Educate hospital staff on facilities matters and maintain positive relationships.
