This role is fully responsible for all esthetics of the building and grounds as well the safety and security of the building. Through providing direct supervision for housekeeping staff (and porter) and working hands-on with the team as well as overseeing and providing direct supervision of the community protection coordinators. He or she is responsible for ensuring the building and grounds are maintained in a thoroughly clean and attractive manner as well as ensuring that there is 24 staff coverage per state regulations.

Education: High school or equivalent GED, desired
Minimum Years of Experience: Up to six months of experience in the housekeeping field with experience Leading a team
Demonstrate Skills: Multi-tasking, pro-active, attention to detail, organizing skills, effective teamwork, process oriented, ability to communicate effectively, including writing skills. Ability to manage own time and supervise a team of housekeepers.
Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of cleaning products & tools, and proper use of cleaning agents. Knowledge of maintaining a building and grounds in a thoroughly clean and attractive manner.
Bilingual: Preferred Language: Spanish
Physical Ability: Tasks involve the ability to exert heavy physical effort in heavy work, with greater emphasis on climbing and balancing, but typically also involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds); may occasionally involve heavier objects and materials (up to 100 pounds).
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate odors. Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate depths. Most tasks require visual perception and discrimination.
Environmental Factors: Tasks are regularly performed with potential exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as strong odors, fumes, dusts, wetness, humidity, machinery, pet dander, pet waste (including cat litter and bird and dog droppings), indoor and outdoor gardening allergens, and toxic/poisonous agents.
