Job summary

Hospice of the Valley is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to provide exceptional service, oversee property management and administrative support related to facilities and purchasing. The role includes back-up front desk support and scheduling donation pickups, contributing to a safe and well-organized workplace.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years of administrative experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum two years administrative/clerical experience.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
  • Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to comprehend written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to manage time well, meet deadlines and perform assign duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow through with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to gather and interpret data from different sources; excellent problem solving/critical thinking abilities.

Position Profile

The Facilities Coordinator provides exceptional service while performing property management and administrative support duties related to facilities and purchasing functions. Additionally, this role will be a back-up support to front desk reception and help schedule donation pick ups.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to comprehend written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to manage time well, meet deadlines and perform assign duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow through with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to gather and interpret data from different sources. Excellent problem solving/critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior purchasing and/or property management experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, safety and HIPPA guidelines.
