Dartmouth College in Hanover is looking for a part-time temporary event coordinator to support technical operations and user services in various facilities. Responsibilities include assisting during events, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining supplies. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, strong organizational skills, and experience in public service, especially in arts settings.
The position requires an ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and to lift objects as necessary. A background check will be conducted.
This part‑time temporary role reports to the Facilities Manager and serves as the technical and event staff providing support for users in the building to maximize the use of space and ensure safety and proper event protocol. The coordinator is expected to complete necessary tasks while providing high level service to ensure all facilities and equipment are fully functional, safe, clean, and code compliant.
